Teton County/Jackson Parks and Recreation Department and Teton Mountain Bike Tours have partnered together to offer an Introduction to Mountain Biking Tour on dirt service roads and single track trail in the Spread Creek area of the Bridger-Teton National Forest.  This tour will cater to the beginner mountain bike rider and offer mountain biking skills and trail etiquette tips.  Other topics covered will be essential items to carry in your pack, how to safety check a bike and safety in bear country.   Plan to bike 6 to 8 miles over moderate terrain while  learning about the natural history of the area. 

This tour will meet at the Teton Mountain Bike Tours Shop located at 545 North Cache Street in Jackson.  Participants should bring a mountain bike, helmet, sunscreen, raingear, lunch, water and snacks.  Teton Mountain Bike Tours will be offering discounted rates on MTB rentals of $10/bike. Tour fee includes TMBT water bottle,  transportation and TMBT Guides.
