Old Pass Road Wildflower Walks
The Old Pass Road is a beautiful mountain road winding past meadows and forests filled with wildflowers. We plan to hike the lower portion (approximately 2-3 miles roundtrip) of the Old Pass Road on these hikes. Amy Collett from Teton County Weed and Pest District and Frances Clark, local botanist with Teton Plants, will lead this morning walk as we identify and discuss wildflowers, native and non-native plants as well as noxious plant species. Learn about the new Play, Clean, Go Campaign on this outing as well.
Meet at the Old Pass Road Trailhead (carpooling is encouraged). Participants should plan to pack snacks, water, hat, sunscreen and raingear. Lunch provided: wraps and drinks will be at the trailhead following the hike. Pre-registration is required by 12:00 pm on June 27th
Participants must be 18 years of age or older.
