Old Pass Road Wildflower Walks
The Teton Pass area is home for a variety of mountain wildflowers. The Old Pass Road is a beautiful road winding past meadows and forests filled with wildflowers. We plan to hike the lower portion (approximately 2-3 miles roundtrip) of the Old Pass Road on these hikes. Amy Collett from Teton County Weed and Pest District and Rachel Daluge from the Teton Conservation District will join us on the morning walks on the Old Pass Road as we identify and discuss wildflowers, native and non-native plants as well as noxious plant species. Meet at the Old Pass Road Trailhead (carpooling is encouraged). Participants should plan to pack snacks, water, hat, sunscreen and raingear. Lunch provided: wraps and drinks will be at the trailhead following the hike. Register at the Recreation Center by 12:00 pm the day priorto each walk.
All Wildflower Walks are Free. Participants must be 18 years of age or older.
