BIke Maintenance Class with Fitzgerald’s Bicycles

Fitzgerald’s Bicycles and Teton County/Jackson Parks and Recreation Department have partnered together to offer classes focused on bike maintenance. Classes will pertain to both mountain bikes and road bikes. Bike tools will be provided during each course. Classes are held at Fitzgerald’s Bicycles shop located at 500 S. Hwy 89, Jackson, WY. Age 18 and older.

 

Basic Bike Maintenance- May 24 or May 31- $30

These two hour classes will focus on basic bike maintenance and tools including fixing flat tires, removing and reinstalling wheels, chain repairs, proper cleaning for bikes and how to safety check a bike. Fitzgerald’s Bicycles will provide a demonstration bike for each class.

Women's Basic Bike Maintenance- June 7- $30

This course will cover trailside and roadside repairs, fixing flat tires, removing and reinstalling wheels and how to safety check a bike. Fitzgerald’s Bicycles will provide a demonstration bike.

Intermediate BIke Maintenance- June 14 and 21- $60

This four hour, intermediate bike maintenance class will include brake adjustments, chain and derailleur adjustments, troubleshooting tips and emergency repairs. Bring your own bike if you prefer, otherwise a demo bike will be available.
