Who says gardens and attractive landscaping can’t also be a functional playscapes? Visit Mountain Meadows Garden for a tour of Edible Playscapes designed and planted by Colter School and Camp Jackson Garden Clubs. Josh Metten will offer tips and answer questions. Round trip transportation from the Recreation Center to Mountain Meadows Garden is provided.
Josh Metten is an experiential educator and permaculturalist with a Bachelors of Science in Natural Resources Management from Colorado State University. His experience includes field education training from the Teton Science Schools and a Permaculture Design Certificate from the Lyons Farmette. In addition to teaching after school programs for Teton County/Jackson Parks and Recreation Department, he is a private edible landscape and Permaculture Design consultant and Farmers Market Manager for The Aspens Market.
