Winter Trail Grooming

Winter Trail Grooming

The Teton County/Jackson Parks and Recreation Department is continually evaluating snow conditions in Cache Creek and Game Creek drainages with respect to snow depths and grooming opportunities.  Typically this is the time of year the department would begin grooming efforts in the backcountry, and often in the valley as well.  As we continue to experience a very dry early season we appreciate everyone's continued patience as we wait for Mother Nature to provide adequate snow cover to begin grooming operations.

All trails are groomed for classic and skate skiing.  Please do not walk in the groomed classic ski tracks.  Dogs are permitted on ski trails, however some locations require dogs to be on a leash.  Mutt-mitts are available at all trailheads.  Please note, due to Teton County School District regulations, dogs, whether leashed or not, are no longer permitted on school district athletic fields, including groomed ski trails. This restriction applies to the school district athletic complex.

Please check the Grooming Report for updates on trail conditions throughout the grooming season.
