May 2, 2015 - Jackson Hole Spring Runoff

Join Teton County/Jackson Parks and Recreation Department and St. John’s Medical Center for the season opener for running and walking events in Jackson Hole! The St. John’s Community Health Fair takes place at the Teton County/Jackson Recreation Center the same day.


May 10, 2015 - Ultimate Towner Obstacle Course Race

The Ultimate Towner Obstacle Course Race is an all ages event with fast and fun classes. This 4 mile “around the town” event features 25 fun and challenging obstacles at our local Jackson Parks. June 7, 2015 - Run and Ride for the Cure

16th annual event! Enjoy a great race and help support the local Cancer Patients’ Support Fund via the St. John’s Medical Center Foundation. Events for individuals, teams of two and kids! All proceeds support this important cause.

June 13, 2015 - Jackson Hole Half Marathon & 5K

The Jackson Hole Half Marathon is a point to point race mostly downhill from Teton Village to Snow King in the town of Jackson. The 5K starts at the finish line at Snow King and is an out and back course.

July 4, 2015 - 4th of July 10K

35th Annual 4th of July 10K helps support Friends of Pathways. Beautiful out and back course along Fish Creek in Wilson.  Start your 4th with this great event!


July 11, 2015 - Star Valley Half Marathon

The race begins at the top of Grover Park in the beautifulBridger National Forest, with a gentle descent through the farmlands of Turnerville, Bedford and Thayne.  We welcome all levels of participation from walkers to novice runners to experienced runners. With gorgeous scenery, cool temperatures, and a 'coming home' feeling, you won't want to miss this event!

July 18, 2015 - 8th Annual Tin Cup Challenge

Join the Community Foundation of Teton Valley and over 1,000 of your friends and neighbors as we celebrate our community’s commitment to improving lives through the power of generosity. An annual fundraising event that encourages giving to Teton Valley nonprofits, the Tin Cup Challenge not only provides the matching dollars that increase the impact of each donation, but also provides a day of celebration complete with family friendly activities for all ages, 5K/10Kcompetitive races and a 5K fun run/walk


July 25, 2015 - 47th Annual Snow King Hill Climb

Join Teton County/Jackson Parks and Recreation Department for the 47th Annual Snow King Hill Climb Race. The 2.3 mile course gains 1,571’ as it travels from the Jackson Town Square to the summit of Snow King Mountain. Post race awards and celebration takes place at Phil Baux Park.



July 25, 2015 - Teton Ogre Adventure Race

Come join us for the Teton area’s only multi-sport navigation race, the Teton Ogre! Three different course options for all experience levels: the 15 hour option will include mountain biking, paddling and running/trekking. The 7 hour option will include mountain biking and running/trekking and the 5 hour option will be running/trekking only. Race as a team or solo. Be prepared for an epic, beautiful and challenging adventure you will never forget!


August 1, 2015 - Rendezvous Mountain Hillclimb

In honor of our friend and longtime JHMR Aerial Tram mechanic Chris Onufer (Captain “X”), who passed away far too early in an avalanche on March 7, 2012, the Teton Trail Running Club and the Jackson Hole Mountain resort are reinvigorating the Rendezvous Hillclimb with a new and improved course. It’s a pretty “X” course as Onufer would say! 95% singletrack on the Wildflower and Cirque trails: no more summer access road! And to keep the spirit of running alive for future generations, the Teton Trail Runners will use 100% of the proceeds to continue their annual programs including weekly fun runs, scholarships and support of the High School Cross Country program.

August 8, 2015 - Running Wild, Dick Jennings Memorial Run

Proceeds from the event fund a high school art award in memory of past-Trustee, Dick Jennings.

August 7-8, 2015 - Epic Cache-Teton Relay

Imagine yourself and 11 friends running through 4 national forests (Cache Wasatch, Caribou, Targhee and Teton) and along the historic Oregon Trail. As you pass through the beautiful Star Valley, take a dip in the mighty Snake River. Your journey finishes at the foot of the Tetons, arguably the most gorgeous mountain range in North America. Sound EPIC? Trust us, it is. Logan, UT to Jackson Hole, WY. August 7-8, 2015 205 miles.

August 8, 2015 - 18th Annual Big Hole Challenge & Duathlon

August 14-15, 2015 - Grand Teton Relay

The Grand Teton Relay is a 12 or 6 person running relay covering 180 miles of beautiful and challenging terrain beginning in Ashton, ID and traveling through Island Park, Grand Targhee Forest and finishing in Jackson Hole, WY. In its 5th year and with runners from around the country, running in the shadows of the Teton with your best friends in the ultimate road trip!

September 5, 2015 - Jackson Hole Marathon Events

A scenic point to point event that finishes in Teton Village, with the full marathon starting at the Town Square in downtown Jackson, WY and the Hole Half Marathon starting at the halfway point of the marathon.


September 12, 2015 - Old Bill's Fun Run For Charities

Old Bill’s Fun Run for Charities is the most innovative fundraiser in the world. Over the past eighteen years, the event has helped local charities raise over $111 million. Those dollars have helped house homeless pets, feed the hungry, teach our children and protect Jackson's natural beauty. Thousands of people have celebrated community and philanthropy by running or walking in the event. Join in Jackson’s greatest day-Saturday, September 12, 2015.

September 19, 2015 - 10th Annual TVTAP Horseshoe Challenge Running Race

The Horseshoe Challenge Running Race is a fundraiser for Teton Valley Trails and Pathways. The race is a local favorite and has become a great way to usher in the fall racing season. The 11.7K course has runners on a dirt road and single track and boasts a great run for both beginners and seasoned veterans. The 20K course is a stunning run with ridge line single track that provides views of the great Teton Valley and the Grand Tetons! Yostmark is known to make sure every runner walks away with a raffle so don’t leave before the awards!


September 19-20, 2015 - Yellowstone-Teton Endurance Runs

A point to point ultramarathon with 100 and 50 mile option. Both races follow the Teton Scenic byway and finish in Teton Valley, ID, with the 100 starting in West Yellowstone, MT and the 50 starting near Mesa Falls.

November 26, 2015 - 23rd Annual Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot

Start your Thanksgiving Day celebration with the annual Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot Race! A Jackson tradition for 23 years, the 5K offers categories for walkers and runners.
