May 21, 2017 - Ultimate Towner Obstacle Course Race

Get ready to overcome 4 miles and 25 obstacles around the scenic town of Jackson in this benefit event for Teton Adaptive Sports! Fast or Fun, Old or Young, this all ages event is about celebrating challenges and overcoming them together. Climb over walls, under ropes, through mud pits and give a helping hand to the Towners that need it! The sixth Towner in Jackson, this event has become THE spring experience in Jackson Hole. June 4, 2017 - Run and Ride for the Cure

June 10, 2017 - Jackson Hole Half Marathon & 5K

The Jackson Hole Half Marathon is locally owned by two women who love to run. It is mostly downhill and you can run or walk it. We will even let you start one hour early if you want extra time. The Half Marathon starts out on the bike path about a ½ mile south of Teton Village. You can stay out at the village or stay in town. If you stay out at the village, you will have to get a ride back to the village. You can use the START bus. We will transport you, the bus leaves at 6 am and 7 am. The Half Marathon starts at 8 am at Teton Village. The 5K starts at 8 am at Phil Baux Park. We have music and food at the finish line.


June 17, 2017 - Shirley's Heart Run

A 5K race for the big-hearted runners and walkers who want to support St. John’s Hospital Foundation’s Cardiology Fund. This important community event is hosted each year in memory of Shirley Kyle. Shirley had a heart of gold and a beautiful spirit that she shared with everyone either through her kind words and deeds or her infectious smile. Shirley was greatly loved and is now sorely missed as she made her early exit to heaven on April 13, 2005 when she died of a heart attack. Funds go toward heart-related programs such as CPR training, new portable defibrillators, and assistance for patients who cannot afford their care.


June 24, 2017- Running Wild, Dick Jennings Memorial Run

June 24, 2017 - Wrun for Wray (Grand Targhee Hill Climb)

This race is the first event of the annual Run to the Summit Series, which includes the Snow King Hill Climb and the Rendezvous Mountain Hill Climb at the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. All proceeds benefit the Wray Landon Legacy Fund at the Teton Regional Land Trust.

July 1, 2017 - 20th Annual Big Hole Challenge & Duathalon

Sponsored by Peaked Sports as a fundraiser for Mountain Bike the Tetons. Net proceeds of the race will be donated to MBT. Information and advance sign up at Peaked Sports, 70 East Little Avenue, Driggs, ID. 208-354-2354. Race day registration and packet pick-up 8:30-9:30 am at South Horseshoe Trailhead. Mountain bike first, 9.44 miles, then either bike a second lap on the bike course or run 6.13 miles on the run loop. July 8, 2017 - Star Valley Half Marathon

This beautiful course begins in the Bridger National Forest. You’ll run the first two miles down a road lined with trees and breathtaking mountain scenes. The rest of the course winds through the beautiful, rolling farm lands of Turnerville, Bedford and ending in Thayne at the elementary school. Everyone is welcome to join-runners, joggers and walkers. July 22, 2017 - 49th Annual Snow King Hill Climb

Join Teton County/Jackson Parks and Recreation Department for the 49th Annual Snow King Hill Climb Race. The 2.3 mile course gains 1,571’ as it travels from the Jackson Town Square to the summit of Snow King Mountain. Post race awards and celebration takes place at Phil Baux Park.



August 5, 2017 - Rendezvous Mountain Hill Climb

The most demanding hill climb running event in the West!  A little over 4100' vertical in just 6.1 miles, on nearly all singletrack!  Held annually on the 1st Saturday in August, this race is run in honor of longtime JHMR Aerial Tram mechanic Chris Onufer, who tragically passed away in an avalanche in 2012.  This non-profit race donates 100% of proceeds to the Jackson high school cross country teams.


August 11-12, 2017 - Grand Teton Relay

Grand Teton Relay is a 12 person or 6 person team overnight running relay covering 180 miles of the most gorgeous terrain on the planet. Starting in Ashton, ID ending in Jackson, WY, this is a run you don’t want to miss.

September 2, 2017 - Jackson Hole Marathon Events

September 9, 2017 - Old Bill's Fun Run For Charities

Old Bill’s is a phenomenal collaborative fundraiser that has raised more than $133 million for nonprofits in Jackson. Mr. and Mrs. Old Bill donate $500,000 every year to challenge the community, and they are joined by Co-Challengers and Friends of the Match to create an extraordinary matching grant opportunity that inspires others to give to local causes. On race day, September 9th this year, people run, walk and stroll and course around Jackson to the National Elk Refuge and back through either 5K or 10K courses. www.cfjacksonhole.org/old-bills/

September 16, 2017 - 12th Annual TVTAP Horseshoe Challenge Running Race

This is a great friendly race and we encourage all skill levels to participate. New distances for 2017 are being formulated, but we will have one short distance (10-12K) and one long race (20K+). The race will continue to be a mix of single track, two track trails with 1/3 mile of asphalt road. Both courses afford the racers with some beautiful vistas and great natural terrain. This race is a fundraiser for Teton Valley Trails and Pathways and all proceeds go directly to serve our mission of a Trails and Pathways connected community.


October 28, 2017 - Trick or Trot

November 23, 2017 - 25th Annual Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot Race

Start your Thanksgiving Day celebration with the annual Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot Race! A Jackson tradition for 25 years, the 5K offers categories for walkers and runners.

June-September- Teton Trail Runners Weekly Runs

Jackson Hole’s running club for runners of all abilities. Bring water, snacks and appropriate layers. Be prepared to encounter rough weather, rough terrain and wild critters! All TTR are free and are not timed. We meet at a different location each week, so be sure to check the schedule.
