Kids Fishing Day
"Take Me Fishing" on Saturday, June 6th from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm
To celebrate National Fishing Week, the Wyoming Game and Fish Department, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Bridger/Teton National Forest, Trout Unlimited, Jackson Jaycees, Teton Conservation District, Teton County/Jackson Parks and Recreation Department and Teton County Emergency Medical Services are sponsoring a fishing celebration at Jackson National Fish Hatchery. Topics covered will include gear and tackle, casting, aquatic insects, fishing locations, fish handling and releasing, ethics, and safety. Parents are encouraged to spend a day with their children and learn a little about the sport of fishing. Lunch will be served. Best of all, it's free!
